I visited South Korea a few weeks ago and bought the bigger version of this set which included the watery cream and eye cream. This set which includes toner and emulsion is amazing at rehydrating the skin surface. I didn’t realise my skin was so dehydrated until I started using this. There is a reason that Koreans generally have beautiful skin and it’s that they go the extra mile when it comes to their skincare regime. This is one of Nature Republic’s more expensive ranges but the product is certainly worth it in my opinion. The toner provides a beautiful smooth base to the skin and really hydrates deeply and also seems to draw in the emulsion when applied on top. Skin is undoubtedly plumper after applying both products and is prepared perfectly for foundation/base makeup application if required. I immediately purchased this set upon returning to the UK as it was also on offer here too and I wanted to have a good supply. The toner has a gel like consistency and the emulsion is more like a light cream. Both absorb extremely well and leave a lovely dewy finish to the skin. They also have a very delicate scent which is a bonus. I would normally have quite sensitive skin but I am able to use this skincare without adverse effects. Also, the packaging exudes sophistication, which I love. You feel like you are really pampering yourself. The Ginseng Royal Silk set is definitely my best ever skincare purchase!
